VOICES OF THE WALL
30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, this project used lettering from original graffiti written on the wall to create new messages. They also developed an online tool for users to generate their own, altogether reminding us that the battles for freedom are not all won.
We helped bring the typeface and its messages to a vast international audience, with features in titles from Dezeen to Creative Review. Altogether allowing us to amplify a unique and loud call for unity, in an increasingly divided world.

VOICES AGAINST DIVISION
“We hope the typeface is a fitting testament to the people of Berlin and beyond who experienced the wall in their daily lives – and of course all the people who used it as a canvas for their own messages of hope and protest.”
- Matthias Storath, Heimat, quoted in Creative Review
